Valeriy Petrovych – Associate Professor of the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the NUPh, has been working at the department since 1992, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2001), defended his Ph.D. thesis on “Chemical-toxicological study of metoclopramide”. He is a co-author of more than 100 scientific and educational works. Responsible at the department for the discipline “Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Methods of Analysis” educational educational program “Pharmaceutical Drug Technologies” (participates in the creation of work programs, methodological support, texts of lectures, etc.), is a co-author of educational manuals, reference books, practical guides , lectures and other methodical publications of the department.

He lectures on analytical chemistry, analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analysis, conducts laboratory classes and seminars on analytical chemistry, pharmacopoeial methods of analysis and modern analytical laboratory practice for full-time and part-time students. Annually prepares higher education applicants for the subject Analytical Chemistry Olympiad. For more than ten years he has been working with students in the student scientific group of the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the NUPh. According to the results of the work with the students of SNT, 15 abstracts were presented at scientific student conferences of NUPh.
